Product & Pricing Assistant
Our client who provides quality accommodation and flights worldwide are searching for a Product & Pricing Assistant to join their busy operation based in Sheffield. This role assists in the development of a wide range of worldwide products and develops relationships with key and new suppliers.
As a Product & Pricing Assistant you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities:
*Assist with commercial activity and setting / monitoring service levels.
*Complete competitor analyses, comparisons and margins for a variety of purposes.
*Destination research planning.
*Continually review existing / core product for profitability identifying and suggesting ways to improve.
*Generate target lists for destinations based on market information and company trends.
*Continually ensure that the product mix required is being met in destinations and identify actions to rectify if not being met.
*Liaise with suppliers on the development of new and existing products.
*Liaise with internal staff on the development of new and existing products.
*Assist the contracting team with queries and advice on targets properties.
*Evaluate suppliers cost / benefit to the business on a regular basis and suggest improvements to the way products are obtained.
*Ensure that all extensions / new products are loaded and completed within appropriate timescales.
*Meet targets set and within applicable deadlines.
*Contribute to meetings both internal and external.
*Other duties - In addition to the above duties you may be required to undertake additional or other duties as necessary to meet the needs of the business and to support other departments.
Product & Pricing Assistant skill attributes:
*Up to £18k (Based on Experience)

Product & Pricing Assistant skill attributes:
*Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer and Excel
*Well organised and flexible
*Attention to detail
*Must be a team player
*Proven experience & knowledge in the travel industry. Experience of working in product is preferable.
*Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
*Analytical, numerate and have excellent attention to detail
