Are you passionate about natural, fresh and ethically sourced food? This market leading and particularly innovative food company are looking for enthusiastic foodies to join their product development team.
You will have an extensive background in food development from a retailer, supplier or even a catering business. You will have hands-on experience of taking a concept, making it better and making it better again before starting all over to get the right combination of smells, textures and tastes. You will be emphatic about using only the highest quality ingredients; British Quality Assured Pork, Dolphin-friendly Tuna and even locally produced cheese.
You will have the charisma, confidence and creative to manage suppliers, and not be afraid to tell them if every suggestion they have doesn't make the grade. You will be a team player, and you won't have any problems spending all day (and night!) ensuring complete perfection.
You will have commercial understanding, a knowledge of production up-scaling for factories, but most importantly - an exquisite palate.
You MUST have proven experience of product developing for retail customers within a commercial environment.
