My client are the largest medical device manufacturer in the world and the Middle East is a rapidly developing market for them.
They develop and market products across pharmaceutical, medical devices, biosciences to name but a few. They are hugely expanding their marketing team and they now have a critical opening as a product manager for renal (dialysis machines.)
As a product manager, you are completely autonomous for managing your own product area, you report directly to the Marketing Director and are responsible for creating and implementing your own marketing strategy and plans across the Middle East. The company currently market products across 33 countries in the Middle East and you will be supported by a marketing team in Europe.
In order to be considered for this role, it is crucial that you have extensive sales and marketing experience - around 7 years within the medical/ pharmaceutical field. You must have a medical background ie. be a qualified doctor/ pharmacist and ideally an MBA in marketing.
It is highly desirable that you have some experience in a kidney-related product area i.e dialysis or EPO and have some experience of building relationships with nephrologists. A large part of the role with be organising guest speakers in hospitals to educate nurses and nephrologists on the products.
Arabic speakers are much prefered.
