Product Manager ( IP Surveillance / CCTV ) £45k, Middlesex
SALARY: £35-45k basic plus 15% bonus.

LOCATION: Uxbridge (commutable from Heathrow, Slough, Staines, Watford, High Wycombe, Fulham and West London).
COMPANY:
Our client is a provider of IP Surveillance and CCTV products.
ROLE:
The successful candidate will co-ordinate, manage and implement all activities necessary to successfully introduce new Visual Communication Products to the European market.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Project manage the introduction of video surveillance products (Visual communication camera and software) products to the European market in terms of product set-up, localization, sample management, regulatory compliance, marketing planning, sales briefing and service requirements.
b) Provide, a pre and post sales, technical support service, to internal and external customers, including system integrators and developers.
c) Develop & maintain detailed information on the market, technologies, products and competition ? to secure good: product planning, marketing planning, training, budgeting and support.
d) Test & evaluate the performance of our client`s products versus those of competitors and partner products providing analysis of the results as required.
e) Develop and deliver Technical and Product training, both internally and externally.
f) Develop, write and proof all forms of marketing materials including product guides, sales training packs and instruction manuals.
g) Manage, define & support our client`s participation in industry events.
h) Periodic travel required within EMEA region: primarily Western Europe.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) Degree level education in one of the following technical disciplines: Engineering, Computer Science, Software Design, Information Systems or Technical Communications.
b) Knowledge of IP Protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, FTP) and architecture.
c) Familiar with project driven environments working in close contact with internal/external project teams.
d) Capable of continuously assimilating technical, marketing & sales information to aid analysis, problem solving and decision making through logical investigation and analysis.
e) Strong customer facing experience and adept in dealing with the different needs of a culturally diverse market.
f) Fluent in English, other European languages desirable.
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) Knowledge of CCTV or IP Surveillance technologies.
You may have experience in the following: CCTV Pre / Post Sales Support, Network Camera / Video, Visual Communications, IPTV, IT Product Manager, VC Post Sales Engineer, Pre Sales Engineer, Presales Consultant, PreSales Engineer, Presales Engineer, IP Protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, FTP) and architecture etc.
