Our client is the leading source of information for anyone with an interest in business in the Middle East. It serves the needs of an international business audience across 78 countries with several reputable products and its flagship magazine has established itself as the primary source of business intelligence for over 50 years. Due to recent internal restructuring they are now seeking a highly experienced Production Editor to manage the production of content on its flagship magazine, associated website and other editorial products.
Reporting to the Editor, your main responsibilities in this role will include:
Leading the editorial production team of sub-editors, and designers
Responsible for the production of content on magazine, website and in all supplements
Determine and deliver appropriate production standards in-line with long-term vision, positioning, commercial strategy and identity of the magazine and online activities; and
Responsible for delivering production quality that is consistent with the brand strategy for all publications and related activities
If you have:
A recognised journalistic qualification equivalent to NCTJ standard
Previous experience as a production editor or chief sub-editor on a quality business website or publication
Knowledge of economics and business
Instinctive leadership qualities and editorial judgement; and
Forthright, confident, self-possessed personality
