Wealmoor Ltd is a dynamic, fast-paced, privately owned FMCG Food business, which is currently looking for Production Line Leaders with at least 12 months FMCG production experience, interested in pursuing a career in production management.
Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, you will have full responsibility for managing a production line, achieving performance KPI’s, improving efficiency and minimising wastage.
The day to day duties and responsibilities of this role will include:
- Provide Leadership of his/her team to deliver the Customer requirement set, of O.T.I.F, to the correct quality & within the budgeted cost targets.
- Ensure that all line sheets are completed ‘real time’ with all data inputs completed accurately.
- Ensure the operations are conducted to the highest Health & Safety standard.
- Lead his/her team of (10 Operatives), using excellent communication techniques.
- Ensure the correct quantity &quality of machinery skills are available, retained & refined within his/her teams.
- Runs the production under an enforced ‘Clean as you go’ policy.
- Identify colleagues for development & progression.
- Ensure all ‘Start Up’ & close down checks are completed, with reference to on line equipment.
- Ensure that all ‘Dump information’ is completed on his/her shift.
- Ensure Shelf Life samples are taken daily, with the correct ‘date of arrival’ & consignment number.
- Ensure that all internal systems & controls are adhered to.
- Ensure area of responsibility complies with the Health & safety standards. Compliance will be assessed by audit; however, the Team Leader should audit his/her area daily.
- Assess methods of production to continuously improve, H&S, quality, output & cost reduction.
