An expanding and forward thinking company in the secondary aggregates business has a need for a self motivated, energetic person to manage its production sites around the UK.

The company processes a specific waste stream to produce aggregate for supply to a variety of applications. The volume of raw material is set to expand hugely in the coming years and the company is in a great position for major expansion. As a result, the company needs an enthusiastic, energetic Production Manager with a strategic approach to management of six existing processing sites, with potential to increase to up to twenty sites around the country.

Ideally the candidate will be a qualified Mechanical or Electrical engineer with a successful background in aggregate production or mineral processing. The successful applicant will be capable of setting up formal management systems and running the production side of the business by them.

The job is office based, though a considerable amount of travel and time away from the office will be necessary.

The position is permanent and seen as a key part of the company’s development plans.

The salary will depend on the degree to which the candidate is already suited to the position. A 5% salary pension contribution, private health cover and a company car scheme are offered following a short probationary period.

Please provide a C.V. and details of two professional references.
