Our client is the world's leading specialist in the manufacture of wire and rope solutions for the most demanding applications.They operate seven manufacturing units worldwide with market focused technical and sales offices, supported by a global network of agents and distributors.
Due to increased production demands, applications are invited for the above positions based in the Prestress Department, Doncaster.
The main duties will include the operation of prestressing equipment, interpreting works job cards and socketing sheets, and operating various mobile plant such as overhead cranes in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and safety regulations.
The successful candidate will have a good general standard of education, and be fluent in both written and spoken English. Previous experience in a production environment is crucial, as is experience in operating heavy machinery and mobile plant equipment. A sound understanding of and experience of working within health & safety regulations is also key. You must be a good team player and be well organised with good time management skills, as well as being able to work independently.A keen eye for detail and an enthusiastic approach to work are also important.
