Production Supervisor / Manufacturing Supervisor Salary: Up to £24,000 depending on experience
Days The Role: Production Supervisor / Manufacturing Supervisor Reporting to the Production Manager, responsibilities are:- Supervision of the Production Workforce, 25 staff (3 team leaders)
Assist the Production Manager to implement lean manufacturing techniques into the business.
Maintenance of end-of-line Quality data on a daily basis.
Making production completion commitments to the Daily Production Meeting and ensuring that these are met.
Managing absenteeism.
Managing timekeeping (start of day, break times, lunch times).
Review and update of Work / Test Instructions in conjunction with Engineering and Production.
Creation and maintenance of Training Matrices for each cell and each operator.
Coaching of Team Leaders and Cell Leaders to improve their leadership, planning and management skills. The Candidate: Production Supervisor / Manufacturing Supervisor
Candidates should be experienced production supervisors / shift managers from with the Automotive or Electronics manufacturing industries.
Ideally qualified to HNC level or above.
Strong people management skills and experience of managing using KPI’s are essential.
Lean manufacturing experience and a tangible record of implementing lean improvements is essential.
Any Six Sigma qualifications would be an advantage.
