MAIN SCOPE OF JOB:
In the context of the Communications Strategy, creatively lead on engaging, with support providers and other key stakeholders within the Supporting Programme Manager
To undertake practical engagement projects as identified within the Supporting People plan
To undertake aspects of contract management
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Awareness of the objectives, legislation and responsibilities relating to the Supporting People programme
Understanding of the principles of good communication between agencies including the need to present complex information in a variety of ways to ensure maximum understanding by different audiences
Excellent verbal communication skills
Excellent written communication skills
Understanding of the processes involved in initiating, developing and delivering a strategy or another complex piece of work
Ability to engage people from a variety of backgrounds and to present information in ways that maximise understanding and participation
Ability to coordinate a range of resources and information
Ability to work both by themselves and effectively within a team with the minimum of supervision
