My client is a leading government organisation based in Brighton. They are currently looking for a Project Accountant with experience of Sage 200.
Salary: Up to £35k
Main Purpose of Role
To embed the project accounting module within Sage 200 across the organisation and act as financial assurance on projects as well as Contributing to the development of project toolset.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
•Embed Project Accounting module in Sage 200 and processes.
•Devise and embed a benefits map/tracker for projects.
•Assist Management Accountant on phase 2 of front-end finance reporting system to enable interaction with Purchase to pay system and Project Accounting module in Sage.
•Devise and embed a process to deal with the Project funding budget.
•Assist ECR Accountant on embedding Document Management into Finance Team.
Essential Criteria
•Working towards a professional qualification (part qualified level), newly qualified or QBE
•Project accounting experience
•Advanced Sage 200 Experience
•Systems Implementation experience
