Due to an increase in both Rail and Infrastructure Projects, a rare opportunity has come up for a project administrator to join this world renowned global engineering and design consultancy.This six month contract will take you through to April next year, but with the projects still rolling in; we're looking for someone who can stay in the role as there will be lots of opportunities within the company.
In this role you will be coordinating; reviewing and maintaining the project document management system, and gaining exposure to all parts of the business. With your manager off-site, you will need to take responsibility and ownership - this role is waiting for you to make it your own! You will be liaising with both internal and external technical staff around the projects, so you must be confident and have a strong sense of professionalism in your approach.
To be successful in this role you need to have:
Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
Experience within document control and setting up administration processes
Ability to pick up skills in and use various database programmes
Experience within an Engineering or similar environment
Commitment to the highest standards of professionalism and service
Ideally you will also have experience with Document Management tools such as Aconex, InCite, Project Wise, enDesign or Mail Manager; but more importantly is your positive and professional approach and an ability to take ownership of this role. Experience within an engineering or similar environment will also be highly regarded.
