Project Coordinator / Financial Analyst needed urgently for a continually growing Consultancy in the UK.My client is a major player in the Government, Intelligence, Defence sector working on cutting edge, complex programmes of work.The Project Coordinator / Financial Analyst is is needed for a programme supplying prime system integration services to a UK customer.

This programme is a multi-year contract with numerous embedded task orders and will be responsible for developing enterprise information technology (IT) solutions and integrating those capabilities into the operational mission baseline to support thousands of users and many critical national programmes.

Initially, the programme team will focus on integrating multiple operational demonstrators into a single, enterprise solution.Going forward, the programme team will develop and deploy new capabilities that incorporate new vendors, advanced technologies, products, and services to satisfy increasing analysis, capacity, and storage requirements.

This programme is expected to be the pilot for new and innovative methods for capability delivery and influencing how the Customer plans, manages and delivers new capability to the mission baseline.

This is a very broad and exciting role, the successful Project Coordinator / Financial Analyst candidate will be responsible for supporting the programmes financial activities with specific responsibility for proposal pricing. Requirements of the position include assisting with budget development, analysis of contract costs, invoicing, Earned Value Management, monthly closing and Programme Reviews, proposal development and pricing and financial forecasting.

The candidate will also be required to support the production of internal and external reports.

Project Coordinator / Financial Analyst Requirements:

  • The candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to effectively, communicate with programme management, customers, contracts personnel, supply chain personnel, and suppliers.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Proven financial & analytical skills, ability to multi-task, excellent interpersonal skills,ability to work independently and ability to interface with senior management and customers.
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Minimum of SC security clearance is required for this role, DV clearance preferred.
