Project Design Engineer- Perth, Inverness
One of the largest and most diverse energy companies in the UK, who own and operate the electricity transmission and distrubtion networks across the North of the UK and currently looking for a Project Design Engineer to work within the Major Projects Division responsible for delivering a wide range of construction projects and key transmission projects within Scotland.
The role requires a candidate with the following:
- Electrical design skills and construction experience associated with transmission projects
- Understanding of health & safety
- Ability to formulate detailed specifications for transmission projects
- Experience in the design and construction of transmission (400/275/132kV) schemes onvolving overhead lines, substations or cables
- A proffessional qualification in Electrical or Civil Engineering
The successful applicant will be employed as a Project Design Engineer, working as part of a team responsible for successfully delivering the transmission projects to cost, exacting standards and to project timescales during the design and construction phases.
The salary is £45k basic + car/allowance + shares incentive + discounts on utilities + contributory pension + package + holidays
