The Company:
Producing for over 100 years our client is now firmly established as a market leader within the confectionary and convenience foods industry. Supplying to all major high street organisations they have developed a reputation for quality that has seen their turn over increase considerably resulting in exciting expansion plans and investment in their purpose built facility. Due to internal promotions a need has arisen for a project engineer to lead and implement the necessary changes that are required to move the company to the next level of excellence.
The Role of a Project Engineer:
Reporting to the engineering manager you will be supporting the capital expenditure programme working on multimillion £ projects. This is a very pressurised but challenging position where no one day will be the same as your role will range from upgrading machinery and installations to looking at plant efficiency and energy reduction.
Key Skills:
Ideally qualified in engineering, you will come from an engineering background preferably from the FMCG industry and have the drive and ambition to implement change and take your career to a senior level of responsibility. Knowledge of CAD systems and food manufacturing machinery such as bagging, check weighers and metal detectors will support your application favourably. This is an excellent opportunity for a maintenance engineer looking to progress their career or a candidate in a similar position wishing to move to a company renowned for their superiority and development of their employees
