Our client is a major European player within its field and seeks an IT Delivery Project Manager join to bring additional expertise and resource to the business. Operating within a dedicated Project Team providing professional Project Management support to the UK and European business in its delivery of solutions for existing and potential customers Your brief will be to ensure delivery of the IT part of the business solution, ensuring realistic timescales for delivery and promoting a greater understanding and business awareness of the benefits derived from applying structured project management techniques across the business.
You will have a broad experience as a Project Manager and will have applied a structured project management methodology across a number of business projects. The business solution is not entirely IT based but this is an important factor and must be integrated into any new client. The Project Manager will help scope and plan for the integration and be resilient against unrealistic timescales set by other parts of the business.
You will be responsible for establishing the scope and requirements for the project management service and take ownership of the delivery of the process and lead the project team, establish the brief and deliverables, structure, resources, roles, workstream, financial controls and customer interface.
You will need to be able to form strong and effective relationships with customers and stakeholders, hold a passionate belief in the value of project management and consistently deliver high levels of service, be creative and have a common sense approach to evaluating alternatives, impacts and risks and the commercial and business benefits.
