Ludlow, Shropshire with UK travel

BiogenGreenfinch was created in October 2008 following a successful merger of two of the UK's leading environmental businesses and anaerobic digestion specialists – BIOGEN (UK) Ltd and Greenfinch Ltd. Part of the Bedfordia Group, they are now embarking on an exciting, evolutional journey, planning a national network of integrated anaerobic digestion plants throughout the UK. These plants will be rolled out in partnership with landowners, food waste producers, local authorities, waste management companies and farmers. Significant investment in research and development will contribute towards continuous improvement of plant, equipment and processes to increase the efficiency of the whole operation.

Their pioneering Integrated Anaerobic Digestion process leads the way in green solutions to food waste. They offer customers the most environmentally friendly recycling route for food waste, enabling them to meet their targets in a cost effective and sustainable way thus contributing positively to the global reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and the reliance upon fossil fuels. Recognised as innovators in generating renewable energy and diverting waste from landfill with a local waste recycling solution.

The innovation has led to the business embarking on a defined growth plan to maximise on its already enviable position within the UK.
