Leading Aerospace organisation require an experienced Project Manager to join their expanding team in Hertfordshire.
This role is reporting directly to the Operations Manager and is required to drive new and existing challenging engineering projects through the full project life cycle.
Activities will include application of Project Management processes, supporting departmental growth through business development in key areas, supporting regular monthly project reviews with the Operations Manager, being the focal point with customers and ensuring facilitation of sub-contract process, etc. This role will manage project values between £2M and £40M and a core team of 5-30 people.
Candidates should hold an Honours degree or equivalent with a proven track record of project delivery. Must have full project management skill-set (including experience of contract / sub-contract management, cost, risk and schedule management) and a proven ability to work on a number of inter-related fields (including engineering, procurement, manufacture and test). Must have worked in a leadership role within a matrix organisation and have experience of team building, decision making and target setting.
Desirable experience would include the knowledge of the design drivers and production processes associated with the design of spacecraft products.
