We now require a Project Planner / Controller to provide expertise on multi-disciplinary Project (Tank farm & Pipeline) based in Angola. Working in a multidisciplinary team of Engineers providing a professional design service to our clients, this is a great opportunity for an Engineer to gain additional and more technical exposure within an internationally renowned consultant.
Requirements
- Engineering Degree in Project Planning, Mechanical Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
- Relevant 7-10 years experience in Planning, Project Control & Quantity Surveying.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning, Scheduling & Monitoring.
- Managing costs & undertaking Costs Analysis & Providing life cycle costing advice.
- Preparing early stage budgets and detailed cost plans.
- Monitor, value and track all PCO's (Proposed Change Orders) and CO's (Change Orders) in accordance with the companies polices and procedures.
- Identifying, analyzing and developing responses to commercial risks.
- Providing advice on contractual claims & Prepare and submit claims.
- Liaison with Main Contractors, Sub Contractors and other parties involved the projects.
- Compile monthly reports in accordance with Company standard procedures.
- Liaise with the Engineering Design team and Construction team to provide quantity and cost estimation assistance.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities for Tender purposes.
- Prepare cost estimates for concept and detailed designs.
- Prepare and review tender documents and prepare tender assessment reports.
