Job description
My client are a leading contractor who operates in various UK and International locations, providing expertise to customers in government, civil, Education, commercial, defence, rail and energy sectors and are currently looking to recruit a Project Planner to work on multi million pound rail station redevelopment projects.

You will be responsible for the creation of construction plans and schedules and monitor progress of Work Packages. You will also update budgetary information held within the schedule with actual costs to derive an updated Estimate-at-Completion. Analyse cost variation(s) and initiate decision-making to maintain or improve position for updated Estimate-at-Completion. Provide expert support to PM/CAM for Earned Value Management and ensure that Programme schedule supports an appropriate level of EV reporting.

It is essential that you have hands-on working knowledge of scheduling tools such as Primavera and good understanding of the principles of Earned Value Management.

This is a very exciting opportunity for a Project Planner with an expanding business.
