Salary
Negotiable Daily or Hourly rates depending on the level of the relevant construction Project Planner experience of the applicant. Current rates vary from £250- £340 a day or upwards of £35 per hour.
THIS VACANCY;
This well recognised main contractor requires a freelance planner to work on a £13m new build social housing project in Stevenage. The project is due to start on site and will run for 42 weeks. You will be required on this project as a planner and will report to the project manager on site.
For this planner position you will have to have over 10 years experience as a planner and 3 years experience as a planner within the social housing or affordable housing sector.
Your duties as planner will include; method statements, producing programmes, logistics layouts, procurement of information, packages, plant, scaffolding etc on site.

As a proven Planner you will have a track record working on complex major construction projects. You will possess either a Degree or HNC and will have the drive and confidence to work in a professional site based team. As the project's "number one" Planner or Planning Manager, you will need to be results driven and someone who is able to work at a fast pace in a team with energy and focus. You will have previously worked Planner or Planning Manager on a similar value project or now be looking to progress onto larger more prestigious work.
