Project Surveyor Vacancy

The Company

This client is a well established Construction, Building and Refurbishment company based in the Midlands. They are a privately owned, family company, with an excellent reputation, built from a quality service and the ability to care. Working within the Retail, Education, Healthcare and Leisure sectors they provide services across the UK and Ireland.

This client provide a full and comprehensive construction and refurbishment service, with the facility to be able to manufacture both bespoke and mass produced joinery to new and existing clients, not just through traditional contracting methods of procurement but also through partnering frameworks, design & build and collaborative arrangements, each tailored to specific client requirements.

This client specialises in all aspects of carpentry and joinery with a first class labour quality and the facility to serve all types of commercial sectors.

Their company manages various types of projects, ranging from new build construction works and extensions, refurbishment and maintenance of existing buildings, but also being capable of dealing with conservation issues and listed buildings. Through to providing high quality, fast turnaround shop fitting projects, for some of the major High Street retail chains.

The Range of Sub Contract Services they provide includes:


• Electrical Installations
• Mechanical Installations
• Plumbing and Heating
• Brickwork
• Groundworks
• Plastering and Partitioning
• Decorating
• Flooring
• Roofing

The role

This client has a current requirement for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor that has the depth of knowledge and working experience to manage & survey projects types as above. Average project value would be around £400k and you will need to be able to manage up to 10 projects at anyone time.

The ideal candidate will come from an surveying background and have a strong background within either main or sub contract environments. Ideally you will be living within the West Midlands region.

Experience within the leisure, refurb and maintenance market is a distinct advantage and if you can bring with you a number of select clients then this is also of great benefit. The role is a permanent position and the client is looking to recruit within the next 4 – 8 weeks given the right candidate.
