Ideally you will be coming from a Reinsurance Property & Aviation Underwriters background, to provide technical support in all aspects of the administration of the outwards non-proportional treaty reinsurance programmes covering both Marine and Non-marine classes of business with emphasis on the Property/Aviation/Space/Miscellaneous/Personal Accident account for various syndicates, both in run off and active business. This is a one year contract.
Duties the -
Preparation of SMC reports for various syndicates. Ensure schematics/purchase procedures are properly documented and Lloyds' returns completed correctly. Set up new slips in accordance with Syndicate checklists/procedures.
Provide quarterly reinsurer report to Reinsurer Security Committee.
Administer all processing in respect of staging area to facilitate monthly/quarterly collections. Maintain a fully auditable activity report of all transactions carried out in the staging area.
Daily monitoring of inwards claims movement, generation of cash loss calls within two days of the original settlement being signed.
Accurate and timely production of reinsurance collections/advice notes, including all processing necessary to complete the procedure. Maintain and accurate audit trail of all transactions/communications.
