Title: Property Consultant - Chartered - Social Housing
Location: Reading

The Company
With offices across the Uk, this reputable, long established private practice are looking to recruit a Chartered Property Consultant to work from the Reading office.
The Person
Must be professionally qualified, and some social housing experience. Asset management that is transportable would also be considered. Ideally someone with a good commercial outlook (e.g. ex-private practice not commercial property). The ideal candidate must be a member of RICS.
The Role
Providing strategic advice to a range of Clients across sectors including social housing/ decent homes throughout the United Kingdom, the successful candidate will be required to:
* Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of modern procurement techniques
* Communicate effectively at the highest level
* Make presentations to prospective clients, committees and other audiences
* Provide both strategic and detailed consultancy support
* Develop partnering arrangements
* Draft and implement contract documents
* Act in the capacity of partnering adviser
* Review staff structures and operational policies
* Determine best practice systems via process mapping and re-engineering
* Be computer literate
* Innovate and bring cutting edge principles to the marketplace being, or becoming, a recognised expert
