X2 QA Managers Circa £30,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience
As a leader in the growing chilled retail seafood sector, our client"s innovative range of retail products continues to exceed their customers expectations. They have an expanding client portfolio from the retail sector. An opportunity has now arisen for 2 QA Managers to join their team.
In this role you will be the point of contact for site technical issues. The role is responsible for offering advice, support and guidance to ensure that the company operates in a manner that will meet all food safety, legality and quality requirements.
As the QA Manager you will:
- Ensure all products manufactured meet all food safety, legal and quality criteria
- Develop and coach site teams to ensure that good manufacturing practice is in operation at all times
- Develop and maintain audit schedule to customer codes of practice, HACCP and BRC standards
- Assume responsibility for the efficient and cost effective running of site technical functions.
To be considered for this position you must have solid experience in a technical or QA management role gained within a chilled or frozen food processing business.
As a QA Manager you should also be a team player who is able to support, encourage and develop people across the business. The ability to make sensible, informed decisions under pressure is also key.
