Quality Assurance Manager required on a permanent basis for our pharmaceutical client based in Runcorn. This is a rare opportunity to join an expanding company with excellent career prospects.
Purpose of Role:
A vacancy has arisen for the role of Quality Assurance Manager at the Runcorn site of our client. The purpose of this role is to manage the Quality Assurance function to ensure that Site Operations are carried out in compliance with current Good Manufacturing practices.
Key Results Area:
- To select, train, motivate and develop both team and individual performance using the appraisal, communication and HR systems
- To prepare, agree and monitor departmental budgets to ensure that spend is in line with business objectives.
- To assess current and developing regulations and regulatory position in order to develop and implement changes within the business to ensure continued compliance.
- To contribute to the development of quality policy and awareness at the company.
- To review & approve validation activities & documentation on the introduction of new processes or changes to process to ensure regulatory requirements are achieved
- To prepare Annual Product Review, and identify and implement corrective actions to ensure quality/regulatory requirements are met.
- To review and approve batch manufacturing documentation within agreed timelines to support product release
Qualifications/Experience:
Applicants should
- Be qualified to degree level or equivalent in Science.
- Be eligible to be registered as a Qualified Person.
- Have experience in a management role.
- Have experience as a Quality Assurance Manager in a modern manufacturing environment within the pharmaceutical industry (operating steriles to FDA/EU/ISO9000 standards)
