QA Manager Lincolnshire £32000 - £38000 per annum 12/11/2009 10:37 This is a unique opportunity to join a market leading food manufacturer as a Quality Assurance Manager with the chance to expand into a Technical Manager's role within 2 years; the role is based within a location commutable from South Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire area. Reporting to the Technical Manager you will manage the QA team as an effective and proactive resource who is passionate about food quality and safety and about exceeding the expectations of the customer.
As the QA Manager you will be an expert auditor, Understand and apply relevant standards (e.g. microbiology) so that the company complies to legal standards. Identify training needs within your team and lead your team of QA's to be a forward thinking, quality driven team who show attention to detail and initiative.
We are looking for a QA Manager with a proven track record gained in the same role within the chilled food industry who has experience in leading, managing and developing a team. You will proactively demonstrates a real customer ethos and be used to managing within a multi-retailer business. Ideally you will be resilient and tenacious with a positive attitude and the ability to drive change.
