QA Team Leader required for our Client based in Liverpool. Salary is £30 - 35,000 dependent on experience
Job Purpose
As a member of the QA team, the QA Team Leader has responsibility for ensuring that quality systems and procedures are developed and implemented according to current regulations for investigational medicinal products. Responsibilities include acting as QA lead on designated manufacturing projects, deputising for QA Director when required, and ensuring batch release documentation is reviewed and prepared for review by the QP.
Job Summary
The QA team is responsible for designing, implementing and monitoring the QA systems for GMP manufacturing, quality control, batch review and release. The QA Team Leader, reporting to the QA Director, provides line management to a small team within the QA group. The QA Team Leader is responsible for providing direction and leadership to their direct reports. The QA Team Leader takes direction from the QA Director for definition of their team’s responsibilities and develops plans to determine how their team’s responsibilities can be delivered. The QA Team Leader can input into QA policies and may be required to make recommendations to Management on QA strategy. The QA Team Leader must ensure that they and their team apply the Quality systems, and that they proactively participate in ensuring any non-conformances are fully reported to maintain the company's commitment to patient safety.
