QA Technician / Quality Assurance Technician / Quality Auditor (FOOD) Salary: £15,000 - £20,000 dependant on experience The Role: QA Technician / Quality Assurance Technician / Quality Auditor QA Technician required to ensure adherence to documented BRC higher level approved quality systems, best practice and customer standards established throughout the manufacturing site. To ensure all quality systems documentation and process checks are in compliance with formalised standards. Conduct regular documented calibration checks on equipment critical to food safety and quality. Ensure hygiene standards are maintained prior to and during production. Action quality and process improvements, investigations and objectives provided by the quality supervisor and technical manager. Conduct internal quality system audits to ensure compliance and continual improvement against industry best practice. Conduct regular environmental and product sampling to monitor hygiene, product contents and microbiological standards. The Candidate: QA Technician / Quality Assurance Technician / Quality Auditor
The ideal candidate will be qualified to HNC or above in a scientific related field.
Food industry experience is essential
