A QSW is required to join a short-breaks service based in Ebbw Vale on a part-time basis. You will be required to provide family based short break and leisure services for disabled children and young people.
You will be required to ensure that the above services develop in a way which contributes to the full inclusion of disabled children and young people in the life of their communities and families.
You will need to hold a relevant social work qualification (CQSW, DipSW or equivalent). Knowledge of the Children Act 1989 and 2004 is essential. Also Familiarity with Fostering (Wales) Regulations 2003 would be ideal, however not essential.
