Qualified Person for Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs) based in Suffolk

Full time position, salary is £40,000 - £50,000 however is negotiable for the right candidate
Opportunity;
- Manage the quality assurance activities for the clinical research services to support EU, US and International sponsored clinical trials.
- Act as the Qualified Person to certify and release product in accordance with EC Directive 2001/20/EC.
- Act as a Qualified Person by certifying and releasing batches of investigational medicinal products (IMPs), in accordance with the requirements of EC Directive 2001/20/EC and other relevant guidance.
- To act as a Qualified Person by certifying and releasing batches of investigational products, in accordance with the requirements of EC Directive 2001/20/EC and other relevant guidance, imported from third countries.
- Maintain the Manufacturing Authorisation for Clinical Trial Manufacturing and any other appropriate licenses.
- To review label text requests to ensure that regulatory requirements are met.
- To provide input into the development of all regional Quality documents, and to be an approved QA signatory for Quality documents.
- To act as the QA representative to resolve Quality Assurance issues that occur when GMP activities are outsourced to an external vendor.
- Monitor the quality of services and supplies from vendors.
- Train all regional staff in the requirements of cGMP.
- Provide assistance to the Corporate Quality Compliance Audit team in the auditing key vendors and lead internal audits.
- Support the local Site Vendor Team in the assessment of external vendors.

- Currently a qualified person or will be taking the Viva exam within 3-6 months.
- Managed teams and people.
- Pharmaceutical or related industry experience.
- Ideally you will have experience in working with investigational medicinal product however commercial QPs would be considered.
