Qualified Social Worker - Children and Families Team
Based : Rochdale
We have an immediate requirement for an experienced qualified social worker to work for an established children and families team based in Rochdale.
Candidates must have the following to apply for this role:
DipSW qualification or equivalent
Current GSCC registration
Valid driving licence
At least 6 months post qualification experience in local government, voluntary or independent sector
Knowledge of relevant statutory child care social work legislation
Direct experience of working with relevant client groups
Ability to initiate , draft and produce reports
Ability to deal with/record casework, communicate effectively with client groups and professionals in order to assess client needs
Ability to attend and organise case conferences and reviews for the purpose of assessing and monitoring the development of services users
Ability to deal with conflict and complaints
Experience of using a variety of IT packages
Knowledge of the issues relating to the well-being of service users covering a wide range of clients
