Reporting directly to the Senior Quality Control Manager the Quality Assistant will have responsibility to ensure that accurate records are made and updated on the Welfare to Work contracts that are currently in place. The role will include elements of HR documentation, finance and purchase reporting as well as ensuring that support activities agreed for each contract are conducted to the appropriate standards. The Quality Assistant will be a highly skilled administrator with a track record of delivering quality support and reports. Will be highly numerate and have extensive knowledge of MS Word and Excel.

Role
- Undertake recording across all contracts and validation of various contracts
- Complete MI analysis and key performance reporting
- Responsible for HR documentation
- As required complete lead allocation for all contracts, uphold importance of quality within partner organisations, undertake and evaluate activities as detailed in SLAs for service delivery
- Attend Quality and Support meetings and further the quality agenda across all contracts
- Assist with partner workshop activity, venue, delegate invitation, administration
- Assist Senior Quality Control Manager in all other activities, deputise when manager is absent
- Photocopying, filing and distribution of contract paperwork, telephone answering, minute taking
- Validate files in accordance with company validation manual, analyse rejections and identify trends
- Support team in preparing for external audit
- Attendance at team meetings, prepare appropriate reports
- Monitor systems and database, data entry
- Record and collate financial information
- Any other duties as notified from time to time by management.

Essential Criteria
- Have work experience in an environment that includedconducting checks, reviews, audits or financial analysis or other compliance or financial control activities
- A strong administration background with strong numerical ability, an analytical thinker
- Extensive knowledge and experience with MS Word and Excel
- An assertive individual who can demonstrate experience with working in an environment where colleagues may have other priorities which may be different from there own
- The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate very high standards in honesty and integrity in their dealings with others
- Demonstrable evidence of being able to analyse work processes and make constructive suggestions for improvement
- Demonstrate excellent organisation, prioritisation and multi-tasking skills and superlative attention to detail
- Experience of working to multiple tight deadlines and consistently meeting these.
Desirable Criteria
- A relevant audit, Quality control, accounting or similar qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential for the role
- Previous experience of working in a welfare to work or related sector
- Previously having worked in a compliance function
