Quality Assurance / QA Manager, London
Navigation has partnered with a leading IT solutions and services provider in search for an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to join their team; to be responsible for setting up and managing the QA proposition within a software consultancy.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:-
- Extensive experience in software development industry, with 5+ years senior-level quality management experience, preferably most recently within a consultancy environment.
- Managed testing at an operational level across a whole IT Department / Customer.
- A detailed understanding of the management of the QA process within software development.
- The ability to present customers with options available to them and the merits of different approaches to QA; recommending the test strategy that you will implement and manage.
- Have detailed and practical understanding of how to organise and adapt testing to fit with development approaches ie Scrum, RUP, waterfall.
- Experience of selection, installation and use of automated test tools.
- Demonstrate your knowledge, experience and involvement in the sales process that wins projects.
- Presenting to the highest levels of the business.
- Be skilled at handling the politics of complex multi-supplier engagements.
- Direct day-to-day management working on multiple projects.
- Hold ISEB or similar.
