QA Design Engineer required for growing team - embedded C/C++, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, MPEG4-AVC, WMV9, VC-1, AVS, Real, QA, Test
Quality Assurance Design Engineer required by leading client in Hertfordshire.
As a Design Engineer, you will be working closely with the software teams on extending the test automation framework. Providing feedback on product design and scenarios to ensure testability, developing test suites, refining automated testing harness and automating end to end tests.
Applicants will need strong academics (2.1 or above) and strong C or C++. A proven track record of 2-3 years in delivering high quality software in embedded environments is essential. it is preferable to have experience of Testing Multi-media frameworks and an understanding of one or more of the following video compression standards (MPEG-2, MPEG-4, MPEG4-AVC, WMV9, VC-1, AVS, Real).
