Quality Control and Qualified Person Lab Manager based in East Sussex

Full time position, salary is £45,000 - £55,000 however is negotiable for the right candidate
Opportunity;
Your role as a QC and QP Laboratory Manager will involve managing the analysis and approval of raw material, packing materials and finished products. You will manage the laboratory services on site, organise maintenance and calibration of all laboratory as required and release licensed and non-licensed products to the market. You will ensure raw materials are tested in accordance with specifications, and liaise with the Purchasing and Production Planner in order that materials are ready for use when required. You will ensure that finished products are tested in accordance with MA, and liaise with Production Planner and Customer Services to ensure packing and/or dispatch can take place when required.
Other duties include:
- Manage existing product compliance and QP release of products to market.
- Manage BRC audits.
- Maintain current Technical Agreements.
- Manage pest control contract.
- Primary Home Office contact and responsible for maintenance of logs and annual returns.
- Manage retrospective and concurrent QC validation in conjunction with Validation Manager.
- Manage company GMP training programme.
You will ensure GLP, GMP, Food Hygiene, MAFF, MHRA, COSHH and Health and Safety requirements are met in compliance with statutory regulations in so far as they apply to the Quality Control Laboratory.

- Pharmaceutical or related industry experience.
