QUALITY ENGINEERS
ADVANCED COMPOSITE PRODUCTS
BASED OXFORDSHIRE

We are seeking two Quality Engineers who will support the Quality Manager by undertaking quality engineering in relation to either Clean Energy Technology & AVT or Aerospace and Defence projects and the development and maintenance of related quality systems.

As Quality Engineer you will support Engineering in the development of procedures, process flow diagrams, control plans, FMEA, SPC on Aerospace and Defence projects and will also support the development of Quality on Aerospace projects, including control plans.

You will be required to review quality requirements within customer documentation, to support Quality & Engineering in establishing processes and procedures for new product introduction as well as in the development of first off inspection reports & Agree inspection plans with Inspection Quality and the introduction of development projects into large volume production.

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for the establishment, monitoring & maintenance of the company`s Quality Standards within Operations, for ensuring Quality Standards are adhered to as well as developing the company`s Quality procedures and management system to ensure that best practice is achieved within all business areas and undertaking audits in all business areas.

To succeed as Quality Engineer you must have Knowledge and understanding of IS09001, TS16949 or AS9100 systems (ISO14001) as well as an Internal Audit Qualification (QMS/EMS). You must have good communication skills, be PC Literate and have excellent problem solving techniques as well as the ability to work on your own initiative. (Logical and systematic approach). You should also have basic/ good understanding of SPC techniques/Tools

Previous experience within Aerospace/Defence or Automotive organisation and understanding of related systems/standards would be an advantage.
