They are currently working on a tender for a highways frameworks contract and are looking for the Quality Manager to advise on, develop and implement quality management procedures for the bid and then manage the quality process throughout. You will be the primary contact for all quality managers on the bid and throughout the contract.
It is essential for this role that you have experience working on bids/tenders and preference will be given to those who have experience working on major frameworks as part of the successful bid team. You will be an ambitious and experienced Quality Manager with a good background in Civil Engineering and ideally highways construction or maintenance.
The successful Quality Manager will also have a relevant degree (or similar qualification) and will be fully conversant with ISO9001 and experienced in maintaining QMS. You'll also possessing a good understanding of the principles of process development, along with proven experience in the improvement of processes and systems.
Due to the nature of the role this is a contract Quality Manager position that will turn into a permanent opportunity should the bid be successful.
