Quantity Surveyor - Civil Engineering - Taunton - Circa £35,000

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven Quantity Surveyor with strong civil engineering experience to join a National contractor, based on site in Taunton.

The role will involve being responsible for -

· The measurement and valuation of works (on site and from drawings), for valuations, variations and final accounts;
· Agreement of valuation dates and preparing, submitting and agreement of interim valuations in accordance with those dates.
· Method of measurement for Highway Work
· Specification for Highway Works
· Sub Contract and Design Procurement
· Submission of Cost Value Reconciliation
· Cash draw down Plans
· Preparation of cost to complete
· Analysis of tender allowances

Suitable applicants must hold a relevant qualification within Quantity Surveying and have demonstrable knowledge of ICE and NEC Cinditions of contract combined with hands on practical experience within the civil engineering arena, for example structures, highways, etc.
