The Company

The Role
Working from the company's head office they require a Quantity Surveyor with the ability to manage all commercial / surveying functions relating simultaneous shopfitting projects nationwide
Key tasks / Responsibilities
* Be responsible for and exceed forecasted gross profit
* Agree up front valuation dates with the client to ensure positive cash flow
* Manage the upkeep, commercial processes and measures on the tracking documents
* Monitor and affect costs and value throughout the project.
* Submit and agree variations priced appropriately
* Submit and agree prices, valuations and final accounts
* Produce timely and accurate cost-reconciliation's
* Provide budget vs. final account cost certainty
* Provide advanced warning of risks to margin
* Develop relationships & communication with the client to improve both businesses
* Ensure central master file is up to date and controlled
* Work alongside Senior Buyer to challenge the supply chain
* Work alongside the Commercial Manager to provide cost-out to the customer
Quantity Surveyor Skills and Experience:
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor must have a background in fast track interior fit-out / retail related construction, design & build and ideally experience in partnering arrangements. The role will involve running multiple projects overseeing Junior and Intermediate level surveyors, so a proven track record in managing a commercial team is also desirable.

The Quantity Surveyor position is permanent based in the East Midlands, with an attractive benefits package, c£35k - £40k salary, a company car or car uses allowance, and pension scheme.
