An opportunity has become available for a Quantity Surveyor to work for a reputable Curtain Walling sub contractor
About Our Client
Our client has been established for in excess of thirty years. They specialise in the Design, Manufacture & Installation of PVCu and Aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling systems. They are a national company and operate throughout the UK; they pride themselves on the level of repeat business they are given from their enviable client portfolio.
About the Role
* Manage all commercial aspects of contracts
* Supervise and manage Assistant Quantity Surveyors
* Ensure the terms of agreements/contracts/sub-contracts are in line with company policies
* Develop and agree pre and post contract strategies
* Maintenance, monitoring and control of costs and income
* Monthly evaluation of contract budgets and expenditure
About the Candidate
* Must have a minimum of eight years experience in Quantity Surveying
* Must have worked for either a Main Contractor or curtain walling sub contractor
* A knowledge of curtain walling
* Good interpersonal skills
* Proactive and committed attitude at all times
