Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quantity surveyor to work on an airport project in Oman.
My client is a Consulting Engineers firm currently working on a major Airport Project in Oman. The Airport project has recently kicked of and is a greenfield site at the moment. My client is currently working on the infrastructure aspects like highways, roads, taxiway and hangers. It will be another 24 months before it reaches the terminal construction stage.
The ideal candidate must have:
- 10 - 15 years of experience
- Experience on multimillion pound Civil Infrastructure projects.
- Must be Chartered and degree qualified with RICS qualification.
- Will be responsible for costing, estimating, planning and tendering.
- Liase with contractors and clients reprenstatives.
- Some experience of working on an Airport Project.
- Extensive experience in Procurement and Contract Management of an International Airport.
