Roles and Responsibilities
1. Financial Reportso Create Tender reports for the Site Operations Manager for the creation of MPTCs as required.
o Accurately perform a minimum of 5% Audit checks on Contractors Invoices and report findings to Site Operations Manager.
o Responsible for querying and investigating any issues discovered through the completion of these audits.
o Responsible for ensuring that all competitive tendering is completed as per the accepted code of procedure.
? Analyse quotations and evaluate tenders to ensure compliance, quality and Value for Money.
2. Pre-Contract Worko Accurately prepare works cost estimates including appropriate assessment of and allowance for risk
o Prepare tender documentation as required by Commercial Manager.
o Obtain quotations in accordance with the company procedures.
o Monitor design development against cost targets up to tender issue.
? Ensure that all tendering is carried out in accordance with company procedures to provide transparency of actions.
3. Post Contract Work
o Prepare/check interim valuations and MPTC revaluations.
o Value and agree contract variations with supply chain.
o Prepare and agree final accounts with supply chain
o Undertake cost control function against set financial limits.
o Monitor procurement strategy to ensure value for Money.
o Physically Monitor invoice payments on a continuous basis.
o Attend Site progress meetings as required to provide professional support.
4. Planned Maintenance
o Agreement and resolution of interim valuations
o Update programmes and specification
o Assist the PPM Supervisor in ensuring that task frequencies, etc. are correct on MAXMO
o Instigate ad hoc meetings with contractors to improve work practices.
o In collaboration with the PPM Supervisor, responsible for identifying new planned maintenance requirements and advising on the identification of new Contractors.
o Discuss methods of improving efficiencies in planned maintenance with senior techs and members of the DEL staff.Utilise Company provided personal protective equipment (PPE) as appropriate and request additional / replacement PPE as required.
o Attend regular 'tool box talks' to ensure a continued flow of Health and Safety information.
