RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT - IT / TECHNICAL
GATWICK, SUSSEX
BASE £22,000 - £30,000 + COMMISSION
This company is an independent recruitment company, trading for over 20 years, and has a large team in a sociable open plan office. They can offer plenty of banter, a great team atmosphere, high staff retention, and an excellent working environment. The company deals with a variety of sectors including Defence, Aerospace, Electronics, and Media; placing both temporary and permanent IT solutions across the UK & Europe.
You will be taking on a full 360 role involving, candidate generation, research and negotiation, providing to existing clients, cold calling to develop new business and liaising with key clients in order to maximise sales.You will be given full autonomy to develop your desk, proactively building your contacts and you will monitor your own performance against KPIs to ensure you meet target.You will be recruiting IT staff for vertical markets such as telecoms, defence, electronics and transport, in perm and contract positions such as software engineers and PCB developers, with salaries ranging from £30k - £80k.
You will be an experienced recruiter with at least 18 months within the IT sector, with a strong knowledge of the telecoms, defence, electronics or transport markets and a solid proven billing record.You will demonstrate a good understanding of technical sales and new business development; have a confident and professional manner, excellent communication skills, and the personality to build lasting relationships, as well as a hunger to earn great money.You will be offered great training and development, the opportunity to take your career to the next level as well as an unrivalled commission structure.
