Our client, Enders Analysis, provides corporate and financial clients with an independent perspective on the TMT sector. Enders Analysis offers research covering the major commercial, regulatory and strategic issues in mobile and fixed line telecoms, TV and the Internet, as well as the major content businesses such as music, publishing and advertising.
A position has arisen for a Graduate Research Analyst in London, with responsibility for the research, collation and analysis of publically available data on the UK media and telecom markets. The Research Analyst role will focus on assessing the performance of companies within the sector, as well as forecasting future trends in consumption, costs and revenues. Research Analyst will also prepare notes and presentations for clients and providing support for senior analysts. Therefore exceptional written and oral communication skills are required.
The ideal candidate will have graduated from a well respected University in a numerical discipline such as Maths or Engineering, though candidates with strong degrees in other disciplines who can demonstrate a numerical background will be welcomed. A high degree of competence in using Microsoft Excel is expected, with modelling skills of particular interest. You will be able to demonstrate knowledge and enthusiasm for the UK TMT sector. Experience of analytical work in the UK within a professional services firm or a media/telecoms company is essential. You will be independent and a self-starter who is creative at developing ideas whilst being focused on turning over every stone through disciplined desk research regimes.
