Description
A vacancy exists for a Research Geophysicist within TOTAL E&P UK PLC’s Geoscience Research Centre based in Aberdeen. At this centre we undertake research in geology, geophysics and reservoir engineering, focussing in particular on methods for integrated reservoir characterisation. The research is co-ordinated with the Group’s main technical centre in Pau, France. The work includes following, and occasionally collaborating with research at universities and other groups in the UK. Working with a team of geoscientists this role offers an excellent opportunity to plan and develop research ideas into workable solutions and to present and report findings both internally and at external conferences. You would also supervise student intern projects.
