Semiconductor, wireless communications company in Bristol require an RF Driver developer. Skills: embedded C, RTOS, Air interface standards - GSM, WCDMA, RF debug tools
Leading Bristol client has immediate requirement for a RF Driver Engineer. Specifically this role will be responsible for the radio control drivers, including control of RF components, analog baseband components and digital baseband control and data flows.
Applicants must have a strong degree (2.1 and above) and excellent knowledge of driver development in real time, C/RTOS environment. Ability to work in an inter-disciplinary team alongside hardware and application software teams, Experience of Software driver development for cellular chipsets, Experience of radio control software, serial port and DMA engine drivers. Use of RF debug tools such as base station emulators, spectrum analysers etc, experience of test under simulation environment, experience with RF devices, appreciation of air interface standards including, but not limited to GSM & WCDMA.
