Our client, a large care home group is seeking an RGN with experience in care of the elderly on both a permanent post for their nursing home in East Lothian. You must be a qualified RGN , with NMC registration and previous experience of working within a Care Home setting.
Duties Include:
Carrying out individual care as per each residents care plan
Assess and monitor the dependence of residents
Ensuring confidentiality
Establish and maintain relations between residents, relatives and staff
Administer drugs and medications as per company policy
Undertake direct nursing care as necessary
Adhere to all company policies and procedures and ensure other staff are conversant with them
Allocate duties and tasks to Enrolled Nurses and Care Staff
Continually improve professional knowledge
Assist with training of staff in clinical areas
