Offering professional and friendly customer service is just as important within our internal business and will be key to the success of our new HR Service Centre. The HR Service Centre will encompass all HR, recruitment and training administration for the Group.

We currently have a requirement to recruit for Recruitment Assistants to join the HR Service Centre. The roles are responsible for the delivery of an efficient, customer focused e enabled resourcing service for the operation and candidates alike. You will be responsible for coordinating and administering recruitment activity from vacancy advertisement, telephone screening and interview scheduling through to candidate offer in accordance with SLAs for all volume roles. You will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the administration of the recruitment lifecycle for all vacancies within William Hill.


Key accountabilities include:

  • Oversee the request to hire process validating establishment needs for retail and resourcing plans for the call centre on submission
  • Ensure Line Management adherence to processes underpinning the Applicant Tracking System
  • Manage the administration of the Applicant Tracking System
  • Facilitate any recruitment needs in hotspot areas
  • Attend and facilitate assessment centre events
  • Conduct telephone interviews for volume roles
  • Resolvall recruitment queries from internal and external customers, providing MI as required.
  • Review recruitment procedures and practices, suggesting improvements to drive improved service levels within the department
  • Ensure all recruitment files and databases are fully compliant with document retention policy and DPA


Essential knowledge, skills and experience for the role:
  • Experience of delivery of recruitment processes
  • Thrives in working in a challenging and rapidly changing environment
  • Highly organised with excellent time management
  • Team player with a flexible approach
  • Previous administrative experience within an office environment
  • Commitment and interest in resource management
  • Able to manage high volumes of work and prioritise effectively
  • Able to work on own initiative and take end to end responsibility for activities
  • Excellent communicator both verbal and written
  • Able to provide constructive and balanced feedback
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Confident in making decisions
  • IT skills in Microsoft Office package, with a key strength in Excel

Desirable for the role:
  • Experience in campaign management
  • CIPD qualified (or working towards)
