Our client is one of the Uk's leading refrigeration companies. They design, project manage and provide Service & Maintenance Refrigeration & Air Conditioning solutions, predominantly to retail supermarket and convenience end users. Their Service & Maintenance portfolio includes: John Lewis, Waitrose,
Sainsburys, Marks & Spencer, BP, Boots, Somerfield and numerous other national and regional clients.
They are now seeking an experienced AirCon / Refrigeration Service Engineer for the London area covering Middlesex TW and KT postcodes.
You should possess a minimum of ten years continual experience in the Refrigeration Industry as a Refrigeration Engineer and have the ability to diagnose faults first time and rectify the fault both speedily and efficiently
You will be expected to have competence in both practical and theoretical knowledge, which includes testing and commissioning of systems and associated pipework and electrical work, fault diagnosis and rectification
Possess knowledge and experience of working on pack installations of at least five years
Possess thorough knowledge of microprocessors and electronic controls
Must be competent in brazing and welding of pipe to pipe and associated fittings and components.
Your qualifications should include:
* Refrigeration Training to either City & Guilds and NVQ levels 2/3
* Brazing certification
* Refrigerant safe handling - minimum C&G 2078 or equivalent CITB safe handling of refrigerants
* UK PIA
* Working knowledge of VRV/VRF air conditioning systems & capable of efficient fault diagnosis
A company van will be provided. The company operates a 40 hour with a two tier overtime system. You will receive on-going training, Pension and Healthcare schemes
